beyond what it can bear

Allah does not burden a soul beyond what it can bear.

it is probably one of the most quoted verses when life gets difficult.

but i don’t think we hear the second part.

whenever we are in the middle of a problem, it feels unfair. it feels impossible. we tell ourselves, “i can’t do this anymore.”

maybe that’s exactly what every version of us has said before.

then somehow… we did.

a year later, we look back and wonder how we survived it.

the difficulty did not just pass.

it revealed something we did not know about ourselves.

before this test, you had no idea your soul could carry this much weight.

now you know.

every hardship uncovers a strength that was hidden.

maybe that is part of the wisdom behind the verse.

the burden is not proof that you are weak.

it is proof that Allah already knows what you are capable of, even before you do.

the test introduces you to yourself.
